The Door Christian Fellowship

December 2014

Joe Saucedo  –

Greetings from Stockton, California a city with a population of 300,899 souls.

We are excited to report good things happening here in Stockton, Ca. We arrived here on November 5, 2014 after a 26hr. drive from San Antonio TX. We took over the church form Paul and Norma LaValley. What a wonderful work they left us.

We are so blessed to be part of a thriving church of believers here at The Potter’s House, and I believe we will be seeing fruit from their labor. The people here truly have a servant’s heart. There was a powerful anointing from God during the transition service as God’s blessing was upon us. Then in the evening we had a big potluck fellowship accompanied by two other fellowship churches which really made us feel like home.

In our first service we had people come out and heard a message on the Holy Spirit. Afterwards I made an invitation for those who wanted to get filled with the Holy Spirit and three people got filled and began speaking in tongues, Praise God! The church is being challenged in areas that God wants to use. I can truly say that there is great potential in the lives of people. We are filling up the calendar, scheduling outreaches and revivals. We are ready to take Stockton California for Jesus!

I’m reminded of the story in Number 13, where twelve men were sent to search the land of Canaan. They were to see what the people living there were like. How was the land, is it good or bad? They searched the land and returned after forty days.

27 Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.” 30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

Here is Caleb a man of faith boldly declares that they should go up and take possession of the land, that they could defeat the enemies of the land. I believe The Potter’s House of Stockton California is ready to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Continue praying for us as we pray for you. And I just want to thank Pastor Gordon and our mother church for their investment, your investment will not be in vain. Amen.
