Fall Harvest Festival

The Door Christian Fellowship

Fall Harvest Festival

Busy, Busy Busssssy!!! The month of October was such an exciting and very long enduring month. As quoted in Luke 12:42: ….

“For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.”

Being committed to the many events our church holds does require much of our time and efforts. As the bible studies came together to brain storm different ideas for booth themes and games, it build up momentum and unison in us. Partnering together with us was our daughter churches, Palo Alto, Pleasanton, Southeast, and Northside.

Every square inch of the Texas Workforce parking lot was taken over by our Fall Harvest Festival! Thirteen fun filled or food/thirst quenching booths were surrounded by many, many visitors. There were three children friendly moon bouncers for parents to release their little ones in a safe atmosphere to play.

We also utilized our amazing stage with fanatic bands and heart felt testimonies. Music can always bring a crowd of people especially when someone’s favorite genre is played. It went from rock bands, rap groups and we even dug deep and pulled out a special treat of having Pastor Rudy Estrada rap those lyrics we appreciate so much.

Having new converts and faithful saints come to the microphone and just express the joy, gratitude what Jesus Christ has done in their life is always a key moment. Proclaiming Christ as the foundation of their life and the church as the body that helps them to build a relationship is what makes each and every event worth preparing for.

A great thank you to everyone who participated in every way, shape and form. This could not have been such a great success without your commitment.
