Destiny is Waiting
Destiny
Billy Graham once said, “Courage is contagious. When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are stiffened.” I felt this quote was fitting after our South Texas Bible Conference. During this conference, God supernaturally moved and many decisions were made. One being Andrew and Jennifer Martinez were announced to take over their very first church. Andrew and Jennifer have shown their humble hearts and unfailing service to God and our church. God has chosen some of our youngest and very best to complete His plan.
God put a burden on Pastor Gordon’s heart to plant not one, but two churches into California out of our congregation of about 150 people! The Palacios and Saucedos have been faithful servants of God and have risen to answer the call to go. In obedience to God, these two couples will leave everyone they know and everything they love to preach the gospel to every soul Jesus loves. What a great and needed example these couples have set as they enter destiny!
In this small yet powerful congregation God has given us the opportunity to give sacrificially to finance these two works. What an honor and privilege Jesus has entrusted us with to support the Endeavor. God has stirred our hearts and brought us to a new level. We are excited to see how God has prepared us and will keep preparing us for things to come. It is critical as God’s people that we do not take this lightly. As believers in God we must know this is a battle we are waging. In the gospel of Romans the Word of God says
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.” Romans 8:5
Let us set our minds to the task at hand.
What’s Going On?
God is truly expressing the power, boldness, and courage that characterizes that of his son Jesus Christ in this body of believers. These fruits of our fellowship are the evidence of the mighty work that God is doing in Our fellowship…glory be to God!
